I have seen numerous videos of them on YouTube and some seem to show them in large concert halls obviously miming to recordings. No amplifiers are visible and the drummer is avoiding the cymbals, and the guitar players are not even trying to pretend they are playing the solos. Did they ever actually play real instruments in concert?

I'm currently reading Bye Bye Baby by Cwroline Sullivan. She spent over four years following them round the USA and went to numerous concerts and she says they sang live at all of them. I'd definately recommend the book, some of it has be laughing out loud. They don't deserve the rough ride they get by the way and Leslie McKeown is still sexy as hell.
