what are the requirements of a hosting server so that i can allow php upload forms?

I use 1and1.com hosting, which has cgi, and mysql, and I'm trying to use PHP to create forms so that users can upload files to my website. the server shows that the php form is not allowed to use the POST method. What kind of hosting tools do I need to use so that users can upload files.

You need the POST method to work the forms correctly.

How do anyone use PHP without POST? What does your host say about it and any reasons why they wont allow it?

I would suggest that you find another host ASAP
