goto www.cnet.com, goto the download section and type in virus checker. Find one that has a free trial period and download it. My recommendation is one called spy sweeper with anit virus or TuneUp Utilities 2006. Both have a free trial period and aren't flagged with spam or a Trojan Horse to keep buggin you to buy,

yes use ur anti-virus and anitspyware. and dfrag ur hard drive
to defrag hit on >start>all programs system tools >disk dfrag
