Well it depends on what part of his brain was fixed.
If it was the node that had to do with LOGIC, REASONING, and COMMON SENSE, of course he will.

Well? It really depends on who might have been the surgeon?
Democrat surgeon? NO!!!
Will not have helped not one darn bit. Probably the only solution would be for him/her to hire a liberal lawyer so that him/her would be able to retire with a real good amount of money from suing the surgeon so that the funds ($$$$$$$$) supplement their retirement check to which all working class people will eventually pay for. Also?? This patient would not have to worry about medical insurance ... None of them "both parties" don't have to pay into such because "We the people..." pay this also. They "both parties" when retiring receives their full pay checks for the REST OF THEIR LIVES". Which it's not to say ... that they probably receives funds from other sources?????
A Republican?
Some better ... only if a Republican surgeon performs operation.
He/she might make reforms to reduce taxes ... but wait ... this has to be a "across the board" reduction. So even the very rich receives tax reductions. It's probably fair ... they do pay allot out?? But ... there again ... "We the people...." work for those rich folks so they can get even richer? They might pay some of us "fair wages"? What thereafter is then deducted from the local, state & federal goverment. And let's not forget Medicare (SS). And I think we mostly know where a large chunk of that goes to?
I could go on ..... on either of the above. But won't.
In ending... To answer the question.
It would not do for any of them to have any kind of surgery.
They "both parties" are mostly so SCREW UP. It would probably make matters worst.

The prognosis is not yet clear. If the surgeons had to remove most of the parts of the brain involved with functions concerning logic, reasoning, or empathy, then he'd probably be much more comfortable as a republican. Especially if his attention span has been reduced to a nanosecond. But I'm hoping for a full recovery, which will leave him a democrat.

Absolutely not. You see, we support the advancement of science and educatuion, so its obvious that brain surgery by a professional would not cause such an abomination in the patient. If the patient were to be operated on by a snake-handling speaker of tongues, the "laying of the hands" on them by Ernest Angely, or other evangelical means, then it would also be obvious that the patient would become repugnant, I mean, republican.

Democrats and republicans are both significant political events. you may be liberal on particular topics (say professional-selection) or conservative on an concern (professional-life or anti-abortion relying on the way you check out it). i'm no longer a democrat nor am I a republican. I take heed to each concern and then be sure in accordance to what i imagine is ideal. i'm liberal on some topics and conservative on others. study and be sure.

Oh, you mean if they get a lobotomy. Sure, spooning out a bit of the pre-frontal cortex should take care of any intelligence they have and then you might be able to talk them into being Republicans.

In cases where the brain has been completely removed leaving nothing but empty space - they qualify perfectly to become republicans

That is not funny at all. People that ask questions like that are the ones that need help. You have no idea what he will have to go through during his rehab. I hope and pray everything will be just fine.
