Take him out to dinner, curl up with him and tell him you are absolutely crazy about him. And whatever happens after that, you decide... just make it you and him for a night ;)

Are you crafty? Can you make him something? What about a photo collage of some "Greatest Moments" over the past two years, and put it in a frame. Burn him a CD with all his favorite songs. Guys don't seem to complain if you buy them something from Victoria Secret or Fredericks. Even if you're the one that's going to be wearing it. But it depends if your relationship is at that level.

I always have this problem because my boyfriend is the same way. Does he need anything for his ride (like a new radio or something)? Maybe some new clothes or shoes. I find the best thing is to just ask a guy, because they usually don't think to leave us clues and he might just have something in mind that you would have never thought of.

Find out what's going on in your community. If there is a concert or some kind of festival, why not take him to a special event? It is also my experience that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. Cook him a fantastic dinner with one or more of his favorite dishes. Even if he doesn't have any big hobbies, everyone enjoys good food! :)

Ask him if he could have any food in the world, what would it be? Then, go buy the stuff (and a picture frame) yourself, cook it together, take a picture of yourselves in the messy kitchen, eat your dinner and print and frame the picture. a friend of mine did this for a guy, and he loved it. Good luck!!

get him something that has meaning to both of you and he will love it. For my boyfriend's birthday, I got him a bunch of little things that made him smile because like your boyfriend, he already has the stuff he needs. Whatever you get him he will love! Sentimental gifts are the way to go!
