I have a precocious 18 month old. She can sing (on key) and is adoreable ( I know all children are, but she really is beautiful). When a group of people are around she will start to sing and dance. We were looking at agencies to send her photo's in to when she fell into our coffee table and got a small chip out of her front tooth (we had a heavy blanket over it in case that happened, but that did not help it). Is it possible she could still get commercials or modeling gigs even though there is a little chip in her tooth?

I have gone to a photography school in Philly, so I wouldn't be paying for pictures (We have enough around the house). The chip is in the bottom corner of her front tooth. Certain angles, you can't even see it.

I don't think a simple chip in the tooth would deter her from working unless of course it was for a dental commercial. Quite often you will see commercials with "real kids" missing teeth and all. based on your description she sounds very talented.

before approaching agents ask yourself

1. Can sh elisten to direction?
2 Can she hit a mark (basically land on a spot without looking for the camera)
3. Does she have an easiness with the camera

don't spend a lot of money on pictures just yet, kids grow fast an dtheir look changes..but if you must a simple 8X10 black & white photo should do.

I don't know, it would probably depend on how bad the chip is. A cosmetic dentist might be able to help.

Probably, but you'd be lucky to find one for a kid. Any kid can sing and dance, or be beautiful. Just because your daughter can do it on key doesn't mean that she should model or act.

yes she can still act and model and if it kinda bad you can have a dentist or cosmetic surgeon fix it

I don't see why not....

First of all its only her baby teeth......and even if that stands in the way.....I am sure a dentist can fix that.....
