Does VOODOO really work?

Many believe that in the religion of Voodoo spirits known as lwas can possess a human with by drumming. There are other rituals that associated within the religion for centuries. They use Voodoo dolls. A doll represents the person being torture in the ritual. The priest use a needle and pin it into the doll. The person will fell physical pain. Voodoo is a mixture of the traditional Dahomenian and Roman Catholic religion. One way
Voodoo can work is if the person is a follower or he/she is posses by a evil spirit.
In the modern Western society many people say that voodoo
is influenced by Satan. Morbid curiosty let lot young people that
this practise can make them have supernatural powers so
they can think that they are super heroes.

Vodou is a wonderful religion. We honor our ancestors, serve the lwa, and serve Bondye (God). It is a monotheistic religion and it focuses on healing, helping the community, and other positive things. The lwa always come to us during fets (service). A member of the house allows to lwa to ride (posses)them and give us the things we need.

I have personally been healed by the lwa. I told noone that I had high blood pressure. I was also a little skeptical about the possession part. I was able to put my head to the head of the person begin ridden by a lwa. I dont remember all of it but I was knocked on my butt and out for about 30 seconds. When I came to everyone was making sure I was okay and they helped me to back of the room away from everyone dancing. I was helped by three other people. When I was fully aware a minute later I stood up feeling great and went right back to dancing and singing. I went to my appointment that following Monday. My doctor took my blood pressure and I was normal. I have not had a problem since. I did not ask for it and I did not tell anyone before hand. I was healed by the lwa and for that I am greatful.

That story was just one of many. Vodou works wether you believe or not. I was a skeptic going into the religion, now I believe without a doubt. Vodou is a powerful, moving, and beautiful religion. One that will be part of my life forever.

P.S. Voodoo dolls, zombie, curses are not part of the religion at. The dolls are Hoodoo, zombie and curses are the work of the Bokor. The Bokor will work any type of magic for a price.

It works can be used for good it is a mix of catholic and African religions.

I would not discount it and it at all have respect for voodoo just like any other religion.

Buy a red and black doll and get some books and have a try.

Not all voodoo is evil though, it can be used to ward off bad luck.

I know that Black Magic works.. but it's evil. My mother died very young-- mysteriously. She used to practice it on other people. Don't mess with magic or voodoo..
