the term 'indigenous' means people who were originally in a place, people who have a long history of being in a particular place and who retain their identity within a larger entity, state or empire.

You have raised the most important issue of all. Whilst small minded people have been voting Labour, well, because their fathers did, or, because to them, the good of the country is the same as what is good for their pocket: The government has been busy taking the country off them. Do you think that they have noticed yet, or will the next bribe still buy their vote? We have to remember, however, that there were more Tory votes in England than Labour votes. It was the good old Scottish vote, plus the tendency for women to personalise their vote in Blairs favour, that did it for the Tories.

It is pathetic, that many of your respondents have failed to answer your question, which, even a half wit could understand, but have chosen instead to go back into ancient history to try to stir up old enmities.

I am an indigenous native Briton and a Brythonic Celt - a far older race than the English who are by all accounts just foreign invaders like the Vikings. Go back to the German forests from whence you came.

In the Welsh language, the words for England translate into English to read 'lost land'. What you call England is just part of Britain which belongs to the British - the Brythonic Celts. Breten.

The Angles are the most indiginous people to England but as they inter bred with the Sexans they are now more Anglo-Sexan than anything else. I think that it would be quite a stubborn mission to point out who exactly is or is not indiginouse to England. Seeing as most of the people in the country already most proberbly have traces of indigioness. So I think you might want to rethink your question.

Tony Blair (PM) - born Edinburgh
Gordon Brown (next PM?) - Scottish
John Reid (Home Sec) - Scottish
Leader of the Lib Dems - Scottish

Conservative Leader is called Cameron.

The Scots have taken us over!

They already have a parliament, we haven't.

Now they want to take Sir Edward Elgar, (England's best loved composer), off the £25 Bank of England note in 2007, (his 150th anniversary year to add insult to injury), to put a picture of a Scotsman on it, (some bloke called Smith).

Something wrong here............

You a pre-Celt then? Cos from the Celts to the present day we are all immigrants of one sort or another. Remember before the Saxon Invasion was the Celtic invasion and the Roman invasion. The Roman army was made up of African and Swedes not just Italians and they stayed here too, so are you sure you are truely white?

Never, as he has effectively given all of the powers that the British Government had to the unelected inept, incompetent and corrupt weasels in the EU. I find it unbelievable that we have to live by the laws that they pass as I don't remember being asked to vote on the subject. Blair has sold out the Queen and the entire law abiding and tax paying citizens of the UK to the EU and for this alone that clusterfucked, donkey-groping, sh*t-smelling, toe jam-guzzling, boil-chewing, sh*t-brained c*ck jockey should be charged with Treason, by the Queen, and Blair, his wife and his entire Cabinet, past and present, should be hanged. Publicly!
