For me the best is David Copperfield.

Well i may sound strange but then my favorite is Sydney Carton- the alcoholic lawyer in A Tale Of 2 Cities. His sacrifice of life and love is definitely worth taking into consideration.

There are so many good ones to choose from. I liked Artful Dodger, The Ghost of Christmas Past, Scrooge, David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, etc...

I agree,I also agree that the best is David Copperfield but I also like Oliver Twist.

At this time of year - looking at the dreadful waste and wanton commercialism of Christmas - well it has to be scrooge... but even he surcumbed to the Tesco sponsored ghosts and ends up blowing his money on seasonal fare at the end... Humbug!
