I have a Dell Dimension 4700, and I need to install a standard video VGA driver. I have looked on Dell's site, but even after entering in my service tag, there is no obvious VGA driver listed. I have tried all the drivers listed on their site relating to video, but nothing has worked. Can anyone direct me to the correct driver? Many thanks!

The driver should be for the onboard graphics card.

Hello, I tried using support.dell.com. After choosing my OS, I get these options under "Video Adapter":
ATI 128MB PCI-Express x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) Radeon X300 SE
ATI 128MB PCI-Express x16 (DVI/VGA/TV-out) Radeon X800 SE425c/350m 8 pipes
ATI TVT1 EHome Wonder
ATI TVT2-DT TV Wonder Elite
CyberLink PowerDVD 5
Emuzed TVT3 Dual TV Tuner
Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family
Intel 915G Graphics Controller
nVidia 256MB PCI Express x16 GeForce 6800

I downloaded and tried to install the first one because the Radeon x300 is the video card I am trying to use. When I am installing this video card, the "video driver not found" message appears, as well as the "standard vga driver needed". Hope this helps you help me :-) thanks

Go here:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/devices.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&SystemID=DIM_P4_4700&os=WW1&osl=EN

Then click on "Video Adapter" and select the one that matches your system.

EDIT:

Since it is for onboard, the Intel drivers will be the ones you are looking for.

First make sure that you are looking for the correct driver. Download the SW to detect the video card installed on your system. http://www.zhangduo.com/windriverexpert.zip
Then search for the driver of that particular video card.

Is this a driver for onboard video or an add on vga card?
This is your motherboard chipset, just select your operating system, ONLY if you have onboard video.
