I can I do random burning of itunes playlist?

I'd like to take a playlist from Itunes and burn the tracks randomly onto a CD

Note: These instructions are for the latest Itunes Version. 7 ( if you have an older version update it before attempting to burn) It will save you lots of time and headaches and will allow you to follow this walk through precisely.

Open up Itunes. Now you have two options, use a playlist already saved, or create a new one.

Option 1. To use a pre-saved play list, simply click it and open it, the folder contents will be displayed in the right viewing frame of Itunes. After wards insert a blank recordable Cd, into your computers burner (wait for windows to recognize it then close the pop up window after CD has been recognized) Itunes will display the "safety cover" button as it checks the disc. Itunes will then prompt you to confirm your intent to burn. Just click the burn button once more.

Option 2. To create a new play list ( which you may want to save for ease or possible re-burning) Click the file button ( which is the first button at the top of the screen IE: *File, Edit, Controls, Stores, View & Advanced, Help then click "new playlist" then browse to your music library where ever it may be and drag and drop all your tracks ( you can find them through Itunes or by exploring your computer folders and jut dragging and dropping them into your newly created playlist.
After wards insert a blank recordable Cd, into your computers burner (wait for windows to recognize it then close the pop up window after CD has been recognized) Itunes will display the "safety cover" button as it checks the disc. Itunes will then prompt you to confirm your intent to burn. Just click the burn button once more. Then sit back and relax as Itunes does the rest.

i dont get it. what do you mean by random?

if you mean shuffle, then i suppose you can play a shuffle then put the songs in a playlist and burn them. but if you mean make your own playlist of random songs, then sure. just click new playlist then drag and drop which songs you want to the playlist and click burn playlist.

It is sort of a manual step, but just create a play list and add the tunes you want on the list. Open the play list and arrange the songs by just clicking and dragging them...in any particular order or randomness.
