Merry Christmas and a Happy New year?

2006-12-14 04:37:50 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

First off, if you are in the "religionious" section of the yahoo answers, why are you saying xmas? secondly, write what you feel, "God Bless you now and always, have a very Merry Christmas, and a happy new year." It might not be the best, but its simple and to the point don't you agree?

If I have people I hadn't been in contact with for some time, I might mention new events, then...
keep it simple:
Wishing you a Happy Joyous (Some people say Merry) Christmas and a prosperous healthy New Year.
And with that, Sign it. [Some people put in a Bible verse, but I usually don't. I try to make the message match the person to whom I am sending the card.]

Charles "That Cheeky Lad"
And for the moment: A Wicked Happy Christmas to everyone!
Peace and prosperity to all!

It's always good to find something in the Bible. If you look in the back of the Bible, there is something called a concordance (it's kind of an index) and it will say where words on Love, Christmas, and so on are found. Here's one you may use if you so desire... Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
