Tonight I want to suggest to the guy I'm interested in, into driving downtown (Cleveland) to see all the lights they've put up and perhaps stopping to get ice cream or something.
This way we have a chance to be alone and perhaps talk about how we feel about one another.
Good idea or lame? If lame, what is a better idea? No movies please.

I'm 23 and he's 25 and not really into drinking...or I would most def want to go get a beer downtown...but perhaps a coffee house downtown....to get something hot...

I like this idea. I think that we sometimes try to go all out for what should be a simple occasion. May you have a good time, your ice cream be yummy, and the company warm.

sounds great, but how cold is it going to be in Cleveland tonight? I would imagine that it would be fairly cold, so instead of ice cream, maybe get a hot chocolate or tea or go somewhere where you can sit and have a warm piece of apple pie and talk. It sounds like a nice, casual environment for you two to try to get to know each other better. Have fun.

Thats a really good idea because you two will have plenty of time to be able to talk and you can get to know each other better. Plus the lights that are up this time of year are so pretty to look at.

Sounds very sweet to me, maybe turn on the radio with Christmas songs playing quietly too. Driving around is cool cuz then you don't have to sit and look directly at each other when talking.He won't see if ur nervous that way.
I'd park the car and walk a while, too. Holding hands.

Ok me personally i love the sight seeing part and when it gets to the talking part maybe u should take a stroll and have something enjoyable to eat that won't freeze ya too death hehehe its kinda cold out there maybe some burgers and fries! Or whatever u think is good to eat walk and talk with Good Luck on ur date!

good idea if you're between the age of 16-20. better idea if you are 21+ to take him for drinks instead of ice cream.

i took the bf out for a movie dinner and later ice cream and he LOVED IT-he was surprised to have a girl do that for him and i enjoyed seeing him treated so well- how about hot chocolates though!

I think that's a great idea. You might consider going for hot chocolate or coffee though, since it's cold.

I love drives. I really do. I think its better than going to the movies or concert. Make sure you got a full tank.
