The Christmas Song ("Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...")
I think "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" is a beuatiful song, too. Either melody, had they been written as non-Christmas songs, would have become a year-round standard, a song which is performed for decades.

Nat King Cole's the christmas song
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir, and folks dressed up like Eskimos
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe will help to make the season bright
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow will find it hard to sleep tonight
They know that Santa's on his way, He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh
And every mother's child is gonna spy to see if reindeer really know how to fly
And so I'm offering this simple phrase, to kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said, many times, many ways: "Merry Christmas to you."
And so I'm offering this simple phrase, to kids from one to ninety-two
Although it's been said, many times, many ways: "Merry Christmas to you."
(oh and i ment the last part)
and number two is
im dreaming of a white christmas by Bing Crosby
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

Sadly not very apt for this year but I'd say "Happy Christmas (war is over)" by John Lennon, let's all hope it has more meaning next year!
Although I must agree that Mud one is good!
