Also join a group of local actors in order to get tips from them. One good way to meet is through MEETUP.com then search for your area and acting. They meet once a month and you can get your ideas from them. Another venue is to join a group like SAG (Screen Actors Guild) which gives you lots of connections as well.

The best way to get started acting is to take classes. You can meet other actors and make lots of connections that way.

First check yor skin color, whites have 100000% more chances of getting in and get rid of yor conservative values, hollywood libs don't like that.
