...serve them in every way? What is the attraction to this subservience of men? Do these women feel the need to dominate men and make them feel less than women? Why? What about women who do not do this; how do they view women like this?

Andrew - your comment leads me to think that you're the sexist... I did not imply that women were secondary. I asked the question from a non-position; it's based on observations.

Sandy - I think there are plenty of examples. For example, I saw an epsiode of "Wife Swap" on TV one night where the woman did NOTHING and told her husband it was his responsibility to take care of her and she did not need to reciprocate. Now certainly it was TV and has to be taken with a grain of salt...

I like for my husband to serve me in every way possible where it's his place to do so. I am not sure I would like a guy to do EVERYTHING for me....I think that would take away from his manhood and away from my womanhood. I'm not saying I like my men cocky...but I like them to be a MAN like the Bible wants them to be...to treat his wife as Jesus treated the Church. In return I like to treat him like God wants me to and take on the responsibilities that I need to take. For example, I'm not going to make him do his laundry because he's the head of my household and that is my role as a woman. I'm not saying women should be shoeless in front of a stove all day...but women need to accept certain responsibilities and not expect the man to do EVERYTHING for them. Does that make sense?

Hey, it's the other way around as well. Some women are control freaks with giant egos... well... lots of 'em are, but so are a lot of men. Personally, I'm into bondage and am a switch. The same could be said of me and anyone I associate with. The attraction, you nailed it, is about being over subservient people. Control. Some might like to play around with it, some people are just looking to have fun, and some people just want to be dominant over the will of other people like businesspeople. It's not gender-specific.

I personally can't stand women like this.My daughter in law is very much the ruler (for lack of a better word) she treats my step son worse than a dog and i hate it i have talked to them both and for some reason he just stays with her he never stands up for him self and its sick she expects him to do everything including working and they don't even have kids (thank the lord) she says her legs hurt if she works this girl is 21 and has been married twice already. I have no idea why she does this she treats everyone like this and has no respect for anybody,i would love to slap her so hard a few of her teeth come out but i am an adult i know that sooner rather than later they will get divorced when she meets a new man (he was the other man in her 2ND marriage ) and i know that my stepson will be devastate why i have no idea he can do much better hes smart and cute and funny responsible has everything going for him except the fact that he is whipped with a capital W it. my husband (his dad ) would never put up with some of the crap she pulls on him i wish i knew why he takes and why she gives it but its a mystery to me

Wherever two or more persons interact, there is Psychodynamics in operation. Ultimately one of them will dominate. Some Smart women skillfully dominate their men and yet let the men keep the pretext of their being the decision makers. Others are brash in exhibiting their control power. The same holds good for men too.

Most women wants to feel equal to men. They would like to be treated the same. Like if women can serve men in every way why men can't. Most of the women are also working like men, but still needs to do household chores. I think Men should also share their part at home. Now a days we are equal what men can do, women can do it twice as much. All women wants to be treated right.

I wouldn't want to be with a submissive man. I need to feel admiration and respect for the man I am with, otherwise I am not attracted to him. I don't know what is up with ANYONE who prefers a submissive partner, male or female. I think relationships work best when the two people love and respect each other.

Women do this for the same reason that men do this. It makes them feel superior and important. Inside, however, they feel insignificant and very lacking. The only reason to demean someone else is to somehow bolster your own sagging and deflated ego. Steer clear of ALL people like this, whatever their sex!

"less than women"? Do you feel that in ordinary relationships the woman is somehow secondary to the man? That is a very sexist attitude.

My opinion of women like these? The same as men who behave like that: they are lazy and selfish and don't care about others.
