No team has ever won the prestigious world cup three times in a row. Though in 1983 West Indians were about to make history when they played the final of the world cup for the third consecutive time, they had won on both previous occasions, but they lost to underdogs India. Now Australia has a fair chance of making history but in the game of cricket you can't predict any thing accurately.
