Let's get one thing clear - Jack, and Yorkshire, mutilated their victims as part of the process. This one seems to work by strangulation and it looks much less likely that mutilation is/was involved; so we should drop 'The Ripper.'
Studies of these kinds of killings usually indicate a motivation that has to do with resentment (maybe they'd contracted a disease or similar) or 'voices in the head' instructing him to cleanse the world of women who are supposed to annoy the voice's source. (Strange that nobody seems to hear voices instructing them to do away with these women's clients, isn't it?)
It's one hell of a nasty world where people push drugs (it seems that they all had difficult drug habits) and then the women have to do this in order to feed the accursed habit. One's heart goes out to them and the people who loved them.

I dunno, they said on the news, they have a fear/hating of women. So they have to kill them something like that. Also, i think like a women may have done something harmful to The rippers, making them stereotype women and hate them. I think it's kinda weird, no women have done that...yet. Mhmm, i hope they find the Ipswich Killer.

Plus....prostitutes tend to be estranged from family....so nobody notices they are missing.

Easy targets!!! Anyone can get a hooker up to their flat. Also, they can justify it, chances are, the guy has mommy issues... maybe his mom cheated on his dad, so he wants to get back at all promiscuous women. Not that I'm over simplifying or anything.

Easier victims - easier to catch, kill, and get away with killing...a lot of serial killers target prostitutes for this reason. Sad, but true. It isn't safe for them out there.
