I don't ever think it's ok to use sex as a weapon....BUT----he has been in the hospital and you have to think about your own health and safety--I'd tell him that you just are not comfortable being intimate with him since you have no clue as to what went on.

Sex has to be based on trust and he isn't giving that to you. Tell him you love him, want to be close to him, but out of personal concern you can't let him have your body....and then you might also want to seek some counseling with him b/c something is VERY wrong if he can't tell you why he was in the hospital.

I would say sex should never be used as bargaining. It's not a reward that a girl gives her man, cause then it's cheapened. But you brought up a bit about lying about being to a hospital. It depends what that's all about. Sounds like there may be more information needed to better answer this.

It sounds childish to me, but then I also don't believe in having sex with every boyfriend that you date.
Maybe he went and had a blood test for Sexually transmitted Diseases. Ask him if he had blood work done and when the results will be in. It will take a while before he knows.

As a man I would have to say no way. But seeing that he was in the hospital and won't tell you what's up, then yes. For all you know, he was there for an STD, and could give it to you.

Just tell him honestly what you think and why you should know. Ask him if he were in your place, wouldn't he want to know. Tell him you're curious to know because you care for him. Don't have to threaten. Don't do anything if you aren't comfortable about it. If he isn't being forthcoming and honests, just move on.

no. You should never use sex as a bargaining chip. It's an expression on love and closeness. If, however, you no longer feel like you can be intimate with someone who doesn't share their life with you then that is understandable.

Using sex as a power tool is never good and could cause him to seek elsewhere.

Never threaten because he can find sex elsewhere.
