There is no such thing as gay marriage. If the basis of marriage come from the rules of the bible then no. You have a government changing the bible so all concepts of what marriage is is changed. How can we have positive views on the sanctaty of marriage when it no longer means anything. How can we ask our children to believe in marriage when it doesn't mean what it is supposed to or originally intended to be. Why is it that a group of people who prefer a certain sexual act get to change something that is supposed to be sanctified by GOD when he condemns that sexual act. It is a terrible thing when one group of people can change the whole basis of Christianity with a sexual act. Why do you have to make such a big over who you want to have sex with.? If being **** means being so insecure that you have to let everyone know thats how you like to have sex then seek help because we straights are sick of the whining and crying. You may like to say that God made you that way but if he did, did he also have you come into the world so angry about it that you take it out on everyone. If you are so proud of your CHOSEN lifestyle then act that way.I prefer doggy style myself and so do thousands of others. You don't see us dressing up in stupid outfits and dancing down the street. If you are so proud of yourself why do you not respect yourself? There is no such thing as marriage in the biblical sense if you can use it in the context as uniting two people who have a favorite sex act. Marriage is not all about sex but that is what homosexuality is--A SEX ACT!

YES YES YES YES YES. . . I just did a research paper on this. Who is it effecting? No one. Why do so many people care? Because they have nothing better to do with their lives. For some one to say that its morally wrong because it says so in the bible, is forcing religion. You don't care that some one down the street got married, why do you care that a gay couple got married? I just wish people would get over themselves, and allow same sex marriages. . .Massachusetts is the only state that allows it now. . i think.

I am gay and do not believe that gays should be married for the following reasons:
1) Marriage is a sacrament. I know that is humorous in this secular world.
2) Sometimes you just can't belong to a club. I think Americans need to learn the word "no" occasionally.
3) Why would you want to marry someone? The whole fun of being gay is the lack of monogamy.
4) There are adequate legal recourses to handle next of kin, insurance, et al issues.
The only benefit of gay marriage is you give a lot of lawyers something to do when you divorce.
This country is going to the dogs.

I don't care one way or the other. It is our government who does not want to give a tax break to the gay community! As long as the two people are in love and are happy, I say let them marry! I know I love my fiance and cannot wait to marry him. Why should straight people be the only ones to marry?

Yes. Love and marriage should not be an issue for government to get into. Love is love and has the right for equal rights to marry.

married people get a bigger tax break than singles and this would cause less tax income for the US. On this issue, The US is not concerned about the morality, no, it's the $$$$.
Marriage is "supposed" to be about love and unity~ but let's face it too many odds are against you! Perhaps a civil union is a better choice. good luck!

We have time and time again answered this same question! The answer is YES because marriage is not sacred anymore in our corrupt society and if you believe it is then you are fooling yourself. Marriage should be between two loving individuals regardless of their sexual preference however, I do believe there should be an age limit on marriage as we have for voting, drinking, smoking etc...

mmm, Check this out. I'm married and Im bisexual. I married my wife because I love her and for us to have family. I screw guys every now and then but I dont really would like to get married to a person of the same sex, because I believe that is like a dead end road. From that relationship there is not going to be a child unless you adopt, and even then is not going to be blood. In my opinion, enjoy your life and never planed to end up by yourself. Why would you want to be like Heterosexuals. There is got to be something to make us different. Don't try to fight for us to be equal. We are on another level. Let them be the ones to B!tch and complain one to another. You are different and special!!! Stay that way!!! Good Luck.

A civil union would work ~ but if gay marriage becomes legal everywhere, my view on marriage will change. It's importance will cease. It will be sacred no more...

Marriage is a civil/legal union between two people regardless of their sex, races, religion, or creed. It is too bad the rest of the world doesn't feel this way. I hope you get your wish.
