Why do the feathers of the angel you marry turn leathery? Well, did they turn leathery or did someone forget to groom them so that they would stay soft? Did the marriage put the angel in a cage so that their feathers couldn't stay healthy by flying in the wind? Is seeing your mate as an angel indicative that one thought they had no flaws, therefore giving ones angel an impossible standard to live up to? Has the angel been granting all of ones wishes and receiving no wishes grated back to them? Are the angels wings tired from having to fly everywhere instead of being given a ride once in a while? Are the feathers actually leathery or are they just dirty from all the work they've done? No one can be an angel all the time...

Because people (Like me, I was there but am no more) don't want to make the effort and speak each others language. So after about a year of lousy communication she/he starts to look more like a bat than an angle. He/She wont do this any more, they do that and I don't like it, why won't He/She fix this, I hate that..... But they don't actually talk about it in a positive way. Folks just yell at each other about what they don't like and or hate. Figure out the language that you sig other speaks and speak it. Are they physical? Be physical. Are they a person who likes words of affirmation? Tell them they rock your world and that you love them often. Are they service oriented? Then do stuff for them. Get the garbage out without being asked. Do something they normally do around the house. Go out and get them coffee or make them breakfast in bed. etc... Check this out. http://www.fivelovelanguages.com/ If two people are willing to try this I'm willing to bet those feathers stay shiny and full of flight forever. ;)

This is because you don't respect the angel's feathers all you care about is just trampling them at will and thus through overuse they become leathery and are no longer sweet to the eye. If only we could nourish and cherish them, then hopefully, we could live to enjoy ourselves through our short and sorrowful lives.

If your question is true, nothing to do with sex, I think it is a great analogy by the way. if you step outside of the box, I imagine you could answer your own question. I to am married and it gets rough but if i am real about how I am feeling and look at the big picture, I can usually figure it out.

maybe u didn't get to know the angel before u married them, maybe she is feeling emotionally that u are not with her. she is lacking something she feels she is entitled to.
