The underlining of places and telephone numbers in my emails by yahoo without my agreement is unconstitutional.
Did the present govt order you to monitor yahoo users like this?

Even if the excuse to do this is linked to some paranoid idea of
national security it is against my American rights and if it continues
I will get another email address. Goodbye Yahoo!

Just drop in a * or an underscore between the numbers if you don't want it highlighted. I was wondering when and why they started doing that too.

1st - You have no right of free speech on Yahoo therefore the underlining is NOT unconstitutional. It's Yahoo's venue and they may do as they see fit with it. The 1st Ammendment does not cover corporate entities. It is meant to bind the government from curtailing the freedom of speech.
2nd - Yahoo introduced that feature over a week ago . You can remove the "Smart Mail" option by going into your email options.
3rd -Goodbye Sally take your paranoia someplace else.

Those are simply "intelligent" links so people can click on them and get information -- HOW does that violate your constitutional rights? I'm CONFUSED!!
