I've bought a trip for 2 fro my girlfriends as a Christmas gift and because I've only got ticket confirmation from the airline I feel it will look fairly measy to just hand her a piece of paper on Xmas morning? How should I present it to her? should I wrap something else to symbolise New York etc??? Help!!

A card and/or a gift box will do well and a flower might look nice with this set.

I would get a scale version of the Statue of Liberty or some other NY landmark or symbol and maybe a miniature plane or some pics of a plane and put it in a travel bag with the flight confirmation. Put it in a big box with big bow and that should get that OMG!! reaction you are looking for. Good Luck and Merry Christmas.

Why don't you get a NEW YORK post card and then write the details on the back. Or get her a gag gift like the statue of liberty foam crown and when she looks at you weird then spring it on her.
You can start singing NEW YORK NEW YORK and dancing around then while she is trying to figure out why your doing that, stop and say "Your going to NEW YORK".

two things come to mind when thinking NYC....bright lights and city that never sleeps....so in a box....put box of No Doze, light bulb and a gourmet chocolate apple....Make sure box is wrapped with lid seperate and not a mess wrap job....! Print confirmation for yourself and print and extra copy on really nice red startionarey and put Inside a small envelope....put confeti "glittery type" so when she pulls it out it will fall...stay with the theme with the glitter. Go to local party supply they will have TONS of different kinds. I live 90 min outta the city...you will have a blast!

Just make up a fancy little invitation/ticket telling them about the trip. Use some clip art or pics from the web to make it look cool. Have fun!

I would go online and find a picture of NYC lit up at night,and make that into a card with the wording inside that says" Congrats you are going to NYC!!!!!" Then would find another picture of Rockefeller Center lit up and make that into the other card with the wording inside that says" Congrats you are going to see this yourself,want to go iceskating?" Then present those to them both at same time over a cup of hot cocoa

I would get a nice picture or poster of the New York skyline and put a post-it note on it that says "Guess where you're going?"

You can buy card that have a place to put cash or gift cards in it, that would be nice.Then you could write some mushy things in it---that way she can keep the card as a keep-sake...MERRY CHRISTMAS.......

Buy two large, red apples and wrap them nicely. Let them guess from that.

I would make a riddle and wrap that up and give it to her so she has to think a little. something like that. so she has to guess.
