Well, he is wishful thinking. You can legally make him pay child support for your children. If he doesn't visit his children for 2 years, most states allow you to terminate his parental rights, but then you give up getting the support he's been paying. I, personally, would point out to him that he's going to have to pay you child support and alimony payments. He isn't much of a man if he won't see his children. They will grow up to hate him and have a hole in their hearts that their own father doesn't miss them! What a jerk he is! You are so much better off without that monster. That poor woman he's living with. He'll probably leave her one day, too, and damage those children emotionally, also. Get a lawyer and sue him for child support and alimony immediately. When he sees how much money he's going to have to pay you, he may change his tune.

Kids need their father. He will really damage them if he gets out of their lives...
Back off... let him miss them...
If he has an e-mail account e-mail him ONLY when it is completely necessary.
Not more than once a week MAX.
If the kids are old enough have them call their dad once a week to talk to him, and leave the room.. let them talk.
We got my son a cell phone, that way if he wanted to talk to his dad, or if his dad needed to talk to him, they could do so and bypass me.
Good luck to you.

As long as he follows through with child support payments you should leave him alone. If he does not want anything to do with the kids so be it. Do not beg.

Leave him be. Concentrate on yourself and your children.
Speed up your divorce and ensure he make regular child support payments. He's not worthy of you OR the children!

make a plan.
decide what you need to do.
decide what has to be done.
decide were you want your life to go.
decide to live your and your kids lives.
come up with several options.
remember what is important here, "the kids".
you can not change others, only yourself.
