I'm not a very good liar so it's been a while since I've told a lie. I'm a pretty honest person and don't really like to tell lies.

Want to know how to get away without telling the truth?
YOU CAN'T - BUT THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE....
I NEVER LIE - I only tell a PARTIAL truth. It's NOT lying - it's just not telling the whole story...
(example - when I had to take a medication several years ago, my wife would call home if she was out and ask me "Did you remember to take your meds?" And I would say "Yes, dear - I remembered to take my meds..." What I wasn't saying was that while yes, I remembered to take the meds, I had not actually done it....)

Yesterday. My mom needed moral support so when she asked if I was busy I told her "no" and spent the whole day with her.
Is that really a lie?

I had to lie a lot last week to pull off a surprise birthday pary for my husband Friday night. It was hard, but worth it. He was completely surprised.

Yesterday.
I went shopping, and when my husband came home he asked what I bought for him. I told him, "Nothing".
That's a lie. I got him a shirt and Sirius satellite for Christmas.
I guess it's a good lie, though!
