I've never written one before so she will be shocked in the first place that I did..anyways right now it's on a scrap piece of paper and I want to transfer it to a nice background paper and then frame it..then I'm wanting to add other things to this frame that's a part of me..along with this poem I made up a music CD that has just our songs on it and then for the case I did a collage of different picture's of us. That's what I'm giving her for Christmas but what I'm needing your help with is the ideas of the poem how can I do the poem on paper..help?

buy the paper that looks like it's frosted (it's sort of see through)... get it from Michael's or where ever.
Print the poem onto the paper w/ black ink, but make sure that you use some sort of pretty font... something that looks hand written, but neat.
you can get a pretty font from fonts.com, or go to google and type in free fonts... it will pop up w/ a bunch of free sites.

You can frame the thing in Word with hearts, they have borders, all kinds you can use or you can download some border clipart to use as well.

The poem should rhyme. I have been writing poems for over 20 years. Most have been about love and I can only write when ecstatic or deeply depressed.

I wrote this after of of my pups died. Just an example:

Sheila la la

Words cannot express the grief
That is my heart of sorrow.
I no longer have belief
About happy tomorrows.

A little girl was taken
My heart bears the pain.
It was her that was forsaken,
And now I won’t see her again.

It could have been prevented,
If I were a better mother.
The reaper would have been circumvented,
And taken the life of another.

Vigilant, I was not
I took her illness lightly.
And now there is an empty spot,
There daily and nightly.

Watching her brother mope around,
Makes me want to cry.
Her lifeless body is in the ground,
And he hasn’t yet said goodbye.

He cannot understand,
Where could his sister be?
He looked all over our land,
Seeking what he cannot see.

I hope in time love will be kind,
And another pup will replace her.
Although I cannot hope to find,
Her personality in another.

Good luck on the poem.
