and when they do, I hope they come to your street to do business in front of your house. Then your kids could become freinds with the hookers and kiss them, and then they could get STDs. Come on, you really want that happening in the streets where you live?

What exactly do you mean by 'grow up'?

People use prostitutes because they are there. Women enter the profession because they can. A lot of women and girls dont have a choice but thats another issue.

What is the problem exactly?

Some say its morally wrong. Well for those people its a no-no.

Some say its dirty and dangerous. It can be, no error but it doesnt have to be.

People dont want to be associated with it. True enough. I wouldnt want my wife or daughter doing it. Nor would I want to be seen to have a friend that is also a prostitute. (I have neither wife or daughter by the way)

Does legalised prostitution work? In some countries yes. In others not at all.

Does it reduce the number of sex crimes? The evidece suggests it doesnt. Countries vary.

Is prostitution 'bad' for the woman? Has anyone done any research on the effects of prostitution on a womans self esteem, self confidence and general emotional state? How does it affect her ability to form 'real' relationships.

What about the husbands/boyfriends/friends of prostitutes? How do they deal with it given the social pressures thay may or may not be placed on them?

What was your question again?

You cannot equate anything done by a serial killer to any aspect of normal human behavior.

And, I am not even sure what the point of the question is... Do you think prostitution is wrong (and the murders are a consequence)? Or, that society should be less uptight (and the murders are a consequence of societal 'uptightness')? In either case, the action of a serial killer are not caused by society or by prostitutes.

All I have to say is that sex is always great and prostutution should be legal. Like strip clubs with benefits. No forced sex, strictly up to the girl.

Sex and prostitution are the democratic individual rights of everyone and anyone.
