Seeing how I consider myself one. I just want to see how people feel about that. When asked about my view I usually ask them if they need someone to tell them to be a good human.

No its not a fantasy, as for me I do what I want when I want. The goverment or the genral population doesnt dictate what I do. My own beliefs and morales dictate that.

No offense Erik but I guess you are one of the people that need to be parented by a higher authority. And feel goverment and laws keep everyone from goin crazy.

I always love the debate on Anarchism, which is more akin to extreme Libertarianism than to extreme Liberalism. Let me explain. I have often had so-called "Anarchists" say that they would work hand in hand with all the, I suppose, "flower people" to make a wonderful utopian life. There would be no leaders, all would be good, and there would be no greed or evil. I counter that what they are describing is a commune. And as we know, communism is far from what they describe in their dreams.

Consider this: Anarchy occurs, there is no govt, no public help, no police, nothing but the individual. Is this not, "The survival of the fittest"? Of course it is.
If you had what I wanted for instance (hypothetically) and I had both the will and a gun I could take by force whatever I wanted during Anarchy. The strong would prevail. The weak would be consumed.

The flower people would be food or slaves under said system.

Anarchism, like communism and democracy are very fine ideals. However - all these political philosophies ignore the fact that most people are selfish, bigoted and out for themselves, so they take advantage of the system - and so they only really tend to work on the small scale, especially anarchy. The difference between anarchy and communism & democracy is that you don't have to be at the top of the system in order to take advantage of it. There is also no system of 'checks and balances' in anarchy and communism with which to punish those who abuse the system, which democracy has, however flawed that system may be.

Perhaps you need to explain a little more about what you mean by "anarchy" and "anarchist" as I'm guessing most people do not know what you mean. I'd answer this question further, but I'm not quite sure what you mean by your statement - are you against all forms of government? If so, I don't think it will work.

Have you ever seen the movie from the 60's called "If?" Starred Malcolm McDowell. A perfect argument for anarchy.

The anarchist believes in no government. It's a novel theory, I don't advocate it myself. I used to have big discussions with an anarchist friend. There's just too many greedy people in the world for it to work!

I think in an utopia situation, Anarchy is the best, that is, if people can look after themselves and respect others.

EDIT: And nothing happened to me?

I thought not.
