I need to make sure my foster grandkids have a Christmas. i am disabled and they are having such a hard time financially that I know they can't buy anything much for the kids. I have 3 grandsons- 16,14,18, and a grand-daughter is almost 12. thanks,

Sorry to hear about their financial difficulties and your disability.

However, I certainly hope youre not expecting anyone here to send you money... Are you aware of how many frauds come out from under rocks this time of year and use heartfelt stories such as this to part people with their money?

I would purchase one thing for each of the kids and let them know that as much as you wish you could do more for them, that everyone is having a hard time right now making ends meet. I am sure that they will be understanding. The most important thig right now though is family togetherness.

They are old enough to understand financial hardship. Spend some time with them, write them each a letter telling them what you love about them, make them their favorite foods.

Christmas is so much more than money.

Your love for them is the greatest gift you can give.
