The lasting impressions are how a person presents themselves, not an individual aspect like eye colour etc, although unusual features are often noticed first and remembered.
If your looking to create a good impression, your appearance should be neat, clean and tidy, always be polite and confident!

The first thing I notice about a person is when they first open up their mouth and speak. If they're negative with no sense of humor, I would already be able to know that me and that person has nothing in common. Looks, eyes, hair----all of that is secondary to me. Personality always comes first with me. What's the sense in having someone great looking around you if the personality sucks to the max? I'd rather be around someone fair looking and have a great time with that person. Male or Female!

Hmm, general impression and self-confidence probably - which is a combination of general features, body language, style and mood.
This works differently for every individual as everybody looks for something else in a person, hence it's impossible to come to any consensus bu there you go.

First of all if someone starts spewing out slang, I don't have a great impression of them. I don't really look at appearance, unless i am hiring someone. If a girl is loaded with tattoos, I don't want her working in my office. If a man can't speak at least some proper English, I don't give them a second thought.

I tend to trust and like everyone until they give me a reason not to. (except blondes-see below)
The first thing I notice about someone is if they are attractive or not-weight and facial looks. (That is not something I look for, but if they are, it's kind of hard not to notice. And if you think YOU dont do that, you're lying))
Blonde chics have to prove to me that they are not dumb and that they are worth my time to listen to.
Other than that, anyone can be of any ethnicity or background and I judge a person on how smart I think they are. For example, if they have really really bad grammar and sound stupid and ignorant I will probably look down on them. (I don't mean to, but I don't like stupid people)
If they seem normal then I don't care.

First impressions are everything, I first notice the clothing, the general cleanliness of the person, their diction and body language

The first thing I noticed is their smile. If they have a nice smile I already feel I have gotten to know them a little. Of course I can tell the difference between one of those fake smiles that say "I am trying to CON you".
