Well they consider driving under the influence to be "Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A crime that can result in fines, suspension or revocation of driver's license, or jail time." And she did admit to be under the influence of Marijuana and Vicodin so I believe she is.

Yes, I sincerely do. Had that been a "regular joe" (or joe-ette), there would not be any argument over this. That person would pay the price for what he or she did. Period. Ms. Richie is not above the law in any way, and her fame (and her dad) should not be her "get out of jail free" card.
Now, having said that, I have to say that I hope that she gets help for her addictions. She's had drug problems for years and it's pretty clear that old habits are hard to break. Hopefully this will be the wake up call that she needs....alot of young girls look up to her and this is not a very good example that she is setting for them.

She's already been busted for heroin in Florida, so the real question is does anybody believe that Nichole Richie was NOT guilty of DUI?

All celebraties get away with committing offences, paris Hilton, Naomi campbell, kate moss i could go on. They've just got more money and influence than most to get away with it....Can you imagine the treatment a normal member of the public would get if they were caught driving under the influence of drink and drugs, let alone driving the wrong way down the road....!

Errrrm! Yes! She admitted that she had taken vicodin and smoked some pot that day. Who knows how much vicodin she had taken as they did not say. But, vicodin can impair you in a big way if you take enough. She should of known better seeing as how she has a previous conviction for DUI and served a three year probation for that. She acted foolishly!

Heck yeah she is guilty. She was definately born with a gold spoon in her mouth, so she will do what she wants, when she wants, however she wants at no expense. There are no morals there in that head.

Yes! That poor girl is a mess. She needs help! She's also guilty of anorexia (85 lbs and 5'1" is not a good mix).

According to the news, she only had a .08, which is ridiculous! Still, if others are going to jail for this, then so should she! I'm sick of stars and famous people getting out of legal responsibility.
