Bush is a stubborn man. I do not think there is any intention on his part to have any real bi-partisan cooperation. The Democrats should just pass good bills and let him veto them.

I personally do not see bipartisan between President Bush and the Democrats in Congress since Democrats and Republicans are like the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, they do not get along with each other and Democrats and Republicans NEVER agree with each other.

I have not seen any outreach. He has told them he will not change the course in Iraq, he has refused to negotiate for lower prices with drug companies, he has refused to repeal the tax breaks given to oil companies when they are earning record profits, he doe not want to balance the budget, he does not want hearings to determine if the money spent in Iraq is being used properly. IF this is what you call bipartisanship then it is not a sham

BIPARTISAN COOPERATION. I AGREE WITH THE PRESIDENT ON MANY OF THE ISSUES INCLUDING IRAQ BUT SOMETIMES ELECTION RESULTS SUCH AS IN NOVEMBER ARE A GOOD THING FOR EVERYONE. IT TENDS TO REFOCUS STRATEGIES AND PRIORITIES AND A FRESH PERSPECTIVE IS SOMETIMES WHAT IS NEEDED TO MOVE THE PROCESS FORWARD. THE PRESIDENT AND HIS POLITICAL FOES, WORKING TOGETHER, HAS A TENDENCY TO SCARE THE HELL OUT OF OUR ADVERSARIES. THAT HOPEFULLY WILL BE THE RESULT HERE.

How can there ever be "Bi-Partisan Cooperation" when one party chooses to work and be self sufficient and the other one believes in a government paid work free utopia? THAT is an absolute no win sirtuation....

I dream of a patriotic government working for the good of the country. However, I have no confidence in Bush ever telling the truth.

If Republicans sacrifice their values and beliefs to reach out to Dems, it is bipartisan cooperation; if Dems do it, it is...oh yeah, they never reach out to Republicans.
Bush is still a loser, but "reaching out" to Democrats only reveals him as a coward as well.
