Nominations came out today (Godlen Globes) I think it was. I think Prison break is one of the best shows on television, but it didn't get a nomination. What criteria do they use? Who decides what shows should be nominated? Do they do an internet poll or what? Ellen Pompeo got nominated for best actress in a drama, but I think Sandra Oh does a better job? How does the whole nomination thing work?

The producers at the shows have to send in a nomination. If they don't, then the show or cast and/or crew don't get nominated.

Money and nepotism. It's not even about talent. Sandra Oh DOES do a better job.

If the show doesn't put you to sleep, it gets nominated.
