Not at all, but it is the one thing he is most passionate about.
Just in today's strip (as published in the Baltimore Sun) he hugged Jon's new love interest because she suggested Chinese food.
Sadly, I have about the same relationship with food as Garfield....

Lots of carbs and protein, so I'd have to say yes, it's healthy for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day... what better way than to fuel your body with energy packed lasagna? Go for it! If you want to add that breakfast touch, try eating it with an egg on top cooked sunny side up and down with a glass of juice!

No, I have seen him eat cookies, donuts and other yummy things. In today's strip Chinese food is mentioned and he seems to be thrilled about it.But lasagna is his favorite.
