Well my girlfriend just had her son 10 months ago. I don't understand it but you women go out an have sex with the first person that comes to mind after the six weeks is up (which is what she did) and then its Sex is Overated, etc. So my girlfriend has lost her sex drive after having her son and she continuosly says that her sex drive and her body won't be back to normal for two years (she's a medical major) I've asked questions like this in the past. A lot of women's bodies are different so it will take some time for you to get it back but in the mean while you can do what I do to help my girlfriend out. If the father is still there then let him take care of the child. Its extremely hard on the woman to be up all day looking after an infant, feeding, sleep, chaning diapers, etc. So I try to help out whenever I can by playing with the baby, changing the baby, carrying the baby, feeding the baby and having her get some much deserved sleep. I understand that it will take a lot of time but a child is a lot of time. So don't worry your sex drive will come back but let your body go through its healing process at the moment and just concentrate on the child when your sex drive comes back you will know it and know what to expect with your next child. I hope this helps you out some coming from a guys perspective on the other side of your situation. Good Luck and congrats on having your child.

I think it's only natural to lose your sex drive after having a baby. After all, you have a demanding baby to care for 24/7, not to mention sleep deprivation. It's been a year since I've even had my sex drive return, but I possibly have Depression too. That could be a reason for loss of desire. Make sure you have enough rest and time to devote to sex.

some woman do and thats normal. try going to get some therapy , or talk to some one close about it. and talk to your husband, or boyfriend explained it to him and tell him you are really are sorry and that you are really trying to get back, and you want help. let him know that you need his support. good luck.
