Honestly, it never ceases to amaze me. Looking at some people's answers to questions about Iraq... they say things like 'yes we are right to be in Iraq to kill those terrorist b*stards' or 'Iraq is about getting revenge for 9/11'
HELLOOOOOOOO?!?!?
Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11!!! Even Bush has admitted it!! So why do people STILL think there is some kind of connection! There is NONE!!
The false 'Iraq/Al Qaeda' link was a ploy to get people to back the war. Now we are in the midst of it all, it has been admitted that there never was a link.
So do why people still think there is?!

Because they are desperately hanging on to the idea that it was a necessary war. It wasn't, but most of these people are on the far right, which makes them close minded and stubborn. They hate to be wrong, and would rather buy into a complete fabrication than be wrong.

I don't know. Why do some people think the only reason they went to Iraq was for oil? Why would some people have rather left Saddam alone?
Why do Democrats think raising the minimum wage is SOOOO important when so few work for minimum wage. According to NPR only 3% of the work force work for minimum wage. And most of them are college students looking to make a few extra bucks.

Because we have a dweeb in the White House who has dweebs for advisors who have tried to instill fear into people with their orange alerts, etc. If we had stayed put and concentrated on the Hunt for Osama instead of the ridiculous diversionary tactic of Saddam, maybe after all this time we would have had the ones responsible. Well, yeah, the ones responsible are dead. See, we just don't have anyway of dealing with whack jobs like that so we do something else instead. Bah!

the war in iraq was going to happen anyway //people in power had the plans already drawn up long before the first plane hit the first tower ...
wake up people and smell the coffee ..money oil power and a big foot hold in the middle east that's why we went to war nothing more and nothing less ..
america, britain sold the iraqi regime chemical weopans in the first place so why were we so shocked when they used them .

because they don't know anything else, they are uneducated about whats really happenening, and saying 9/11 is the easiest for them--they are trying to sound like they are aware.
