The bank I use to work at would not allow you to transfer money from one account to another one at a different bank online. If they were at the same bank then you could. You could set up that transfer but you would have to do it at the bank. You should always set up the transfer at the bank the money is coming from. Trust me its easier for the bank that way and if your bank wont do it its bc they are lazy or a crappy bank. I could go on and on but I'll stop. Hope this helps and if you have other questions let me know I did work at a bank for awhile.

Yes with most banks it's pretty simple. You just login to your banking website, and then find the "transfers" link. Click on that to see your options.

Most banks will allow you to transfer between your own accounts within the same bank, and to other people's accounts at the same bank with very little hassle. It's just a matter of entering the info and hitting the send button.

If you're trying to transfer from two different banks, you'll more than likely need to visit the branch and fill out a transfer form.

Of course you can transfer online, assuming the accounts are at the same bank.

Depending on your objective, a PayPal account may help you. You get a debit card tied to your bank account and you can transfer money back and forth between your PayPal and bank accounts at no charge. If you want to make/receive payment to/from a third party, that can be done at no charge, as long as they are a PayPal member. Go to: www.PayPal.com for more info.

Yes of course. Just call your bank for instruction if you cant find your way around it.
Normally you'd have to look for a link that says 'payments' or 'transfers'

Sure it's possible, if both banks offer the service. If you can't figure it out from the web page, call their customer service and have them guide you through it.
