To create wrecked jeans - first start with worn jeans at least 1 yr old - use a razor blade to slice open in the places you want tears then use a metal file to sand the slits until they fray and open (to make this go faster strech slits over a piece of wood) then when they have a good look wash them with 1/4 cup bleach in the water to get a nice fade. It takes time but this will create a really nice shredded look.

you can get anything on eBay. If you want to do it yourself, put rocks inside the jeans and hammer on them, either with other rocks or an actual hammer, until you get the holes you want. You can also strategically splash them with undiluted bleach and wash them with a bagful of gas grill volcanic rocks (I recommend using a laundromat for this). These techniques will open holes that don't look like they were made intentionally.
