People fear what they don't know and understand. And instead of learning about it...they beat it down and kill it. Whether it's racism, sexism, classism, hope, dreams, etc...

I wish life could be perfect, but it is not. Racism is just a facet of classism. As long as there are groups of people who control the wealth of all the others, there will always be this rivalry, as some groups struggle to get to the top and take over. If you look around the world, some groups don't really struggle to get to the top, but some countries like Great Britain/England, Japan, and the US do. Those who have the most money and, subsequently, power over others may believe they are better. If it was Africa or China who currently controlled most of the wealth, then we would all believe these were the best races and all the others were the inferior ones. England started the actual trend of racism, which is assigning someone a rank in an hierarchy based on their race.

I agree with Zee, Its the way of man. Racism is not a new fad, Its been around alot longer than the sword, probably the wheel. I wish it would end, but i wish Wars would end, and peace for all and blah blah blah,

Why do people riot after sporting events? This happens all over the world as well. We (humans) are not as advanced are we like to think we are.

This is simple, when certain races want to segregate themselves, they are going to be treated that way. Meaning having their own TV channels, magazines, a whole month and can make fun of other people and not get in trouble, going out making babies committing crimes at the taxpayers expense. Instead of acting like a good American citizen by learning English, getting married, going to school, getting a job and so on. Most importantly treating others with respect.

I think it all goes back to how a person was raised. There is still a lot of people teaching hate to their children and grand children and I don't understand it. I live in St. louis, Mo and usually when a black person moves to a white neighborhood, then the white people begin to move out. Why? They are people who need to live and survive also, no matter where they live. I'm a very diverse person because I grew up around a lot of different backgrounds. A lot of people didn't grow up with the type of background I did, so it's hard for them to accept. Different people don't bother me. I don't feel that it comes natural because you only know what is taught to you.

Good point..yes it is. Why? My opinion is that we are still living in primitive times. I feel that as long as people continue to act in violent ways, it is still primitive times...like a 12 year old with a brain, we may be able to learn brain surgery, but can we make competent enough decisions while doing brain surgery?
Another important problem that is even more ignorant is sexism. It is rampant not only in many places in the world but even in the good ole USA still! Check out feminist majority online as well as ourbodiesourselves.org

Because people with racist mentality cant see past it, no matter what anyone says racism will always exist. It may not be as evident but it will exist. You should look at the person for who they truly are.

I think it's because some people thrive on hate and destruction and evilness. Those people have to have something to hate it just in their blood. They wake up pissed, go to bed pissed, eat pissed, go to work pissed. It's so much a part of their make-up until they don't know any other way to be. And watch the quiet ones. You never know what the hell is on their minds. The quiet ones are the ones who bare watching.
