I personally found it to be fairly accurate. I could tell the differences in my own baby's cry at that age and they were strikingly similar.

The "secret language" of babies IS COMPLETE AND UTTER BS!

You expect me to believe that humans, who do not even all uses the same enzymes to digest food are all born speaking the same language? Which they then forget at age 4 months and then slowly learn to speak the language of the people around them.

Sorry, but nope. It's BS. But it is really easy to con parents becaues a) 95% of the time a newborn will eat, particularly breastfed babies who will just suck for comfort. b) If you say a baby is too cold/warm and fix it you have no way of knowing if that was what was wrong. c) gas. Everyone ALWAYS says babies have gas pains, and that is also unprovable(and usually wrong)!

But if you want I can send you a baby language decoding box for only $49.99

*sigh*

I seen it. I thought it was neat. I couldn't test it because my child is 2yrs old but I am 6months pregnant now, so I might give it a try. But I don't think that will be something everyone will remember, cause when your child crys you automatically do what comes to your head most of the time.

i think it is bs. she told you stuff you already know. by the first mth you should have your babies crys almost pin pointed. and if you know how often you baby needs to eat you know when to feed! same goes with diaper...etc
