I like all music...'cept country. Not too familiar with underground bands, but here are a few really really good bands that aren't really known world wide.

they're all really good quality metal bands. if your looking for some unknowns I can tell you the best metal band from Australia is COG, along the lines of Tool, they've made some really epic songs. also a band called The Butterfly Effect, their 1st album 'begins here' is really solid nu-metal, unfortunately their 2nd and most recent album is disappointingly soft and commercial.

Buy the new Roadrunner United CD. It's pretty sweet. It's mostly a compilation record with all that is good in the metal genre.
