His arguments are pompous and repetitive and his movies are extremely condescending. I respect a lot of his ideas, but I'd rather listen to 1,000 Jello Biafras than one Michael Moore.

I think he has every right to think and say whatever he wants, but he frequently gets his facts wrong... just like Ann Coulter, who is the political polar opposite of Michael Moore. If you are going to have an opinion, at the very least please have an INFORMED opinion. For the track record on both of these two and others, please visit "Spinsanity" on the web. I think that both might have some valid points, but if you are making your decisions based on flawed information then that puts your decisions in question, liberal or conservative.

I have alot of respect for him it takes more than courage to stand up and say what you believe even if it is against everybody Else's opinion i have seen just about every documentary he has done and while i don't believe everything he says i think hes right about most and the world needs more people like him maybe there would not be so much corruption in our government ,he better watch his as*though or one day some high power evil bastard will shoot him.my favorite was bowling for Columbine i would almost bet everyone who answered this question haven't ever seen one of his films they just go on what little they see in the media.

I think the world needs people like Michael Moore...or we would believe everything in the govt and media. He reveals a lot of truth that is hard to believe, especially in his film "Bowling for Columbine", I love how he shows how the media uses fear to manipulate the public. And we fall for it many times!

How do you know he isn't basing his films on facts? he's no different than anyone else in the media who spins facts. Why is it Ok for a big mouth losers like Rush Windbag or Bill O'Reilly to twist facts (and you know they do) and it's not OK for anyone else to do it? Let's face it, there are people who don't like Bush and never will, no matter what you say. And there are people who do like him and won't change that opinion no matter what. As for me, I think he is the polar opposite of O'Reilly and therefore, I like him.

I think he's a very good filmmaker.

But, as with anyone who has a very strong political opinion, I think it's important to research the facts and come to your own conclusions instead of taking the message at face value.

Too bad most people are too lazy to do that.

I think he's a liar who changes his story to fit his mood. You should read up on him. Read Michael Moore is a big fat stupid white man. It really shed some light on him for me. Go to Michael Moore exposed online it's really interesting.

I think him and people like him are political activists -- they try to reach people through media to bring a change in society.

I would like to see people spend more time discussing the issues brought up in his films than they do the film maker himself. If someone disagrees with something in, say, Fahrenheit 911 then be specific. Don't immediately focus on his weight or his arrogant attitude. And for God sake, don't give an opinion on a movie if you haven't actually seen it.

Its nice that he brings some truths to the public, but he exaggerates some of them. Yes, he is a big fat tub of goo, but its the kinda fat you ignore when you see some of the stuff he shows us. Some of the stuff is as big as he is, but his big giant fat gravity defying torso has nothing to do with it.
