It shows you the sad state of current comedy when we saw who won this year. They were the best of a very sorry lot.
The only way these days to listen to good comedy, i.e. full of invention, creativity and wit, is via the BBC Radio 7 website.
There you can listen to the Comedy Greats, e.g. The Goons, Round the Horne (possibly the best ever radio comedy show) and I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue.
This is real comedy, no obscenities, no stupidity, just class.

I didn't understand it. The TV Planner on the Freeview said it started at 22:50 yet at 22:57 they went into the party WTH?

Yes long gone are the days when you would have been nominated Catweezle. I actually felt embarrassed at all those lovies loving themselves and turned over....No I switched off.
PS Chris Tarrent how on earth did he get on there. Some of these people forget their roots.... not all but most.
I felt sorry for Liza Tarbuck....lovely gal.
