It depends on where you are born, your culture, your family, your religious background, and your wishes.

Most American men tend to be circumsized and most of them are circumsized when they are infants. Their parents made the decision for them. Most European men are uncircumsized. Men from devout Jewish families are circumsized as infants in a religious ceremony.

If an uncircumsized man wants to be circumsized later in life, he can choose to do so. My friend chose this because in America he felt that he looked different than the other men at the gym, etc. The only difference, really, is that he says after it was done he had increased sensitivity but that went away as he became used to it.

The natural penis is designed by nature to maximize the sexual pleasure for the woman, as well as the man, during intercourse.

Conversely, circumcised sex harms women in at least 10 ways.

I think once women and men both clearly understand the many sexual benefits and functions of the foreskin, uncircumcised will always be the universal favorite.

i have been uncircumcised, circumcised and now restored and i would say that uncircumcised is best.when you get circumcised your skin gets wrinkled and stretch marked when you get erections and very rough.it doesn't feel good it is no longer smooth.also the head of your penis rubs on your clothing which is painful.restored is better than circumcised because of this.but uncircumcised is best because you do not have the roughness or wrinkles or stretchmarks.people should not try to make their bodies look like everyone Else's.variety is the spice of life.be yourself because you are unique do not get breast implants or circumcised so your body, penis, vagina, face looks like someone else.you are made to be what you are-naturally beautiful.also the sexual benefits for women make circumcision wrong.stop genital mutilation.

This is a polarizing issue that can get people pretty heated. The only thing I can offer is that I hear a lot of people complain about foreskins and their tendency to smell or become infected on account of all the bacteria that collects inside. This is not some out of control problem though. It comes down to proper hygiene. I tell guys to make sure they clean it out every day and apply a penis health creme that contains Vitamin A as well. These two things together will take care of all of the troublesome bacteria down there. Hope this helps.

A penis is a penis with or without it's "hood". Uncircumcised men are sensitive too during intimacy. If it's too dry their extra skin gets tugged and pulled back which can be painful or unpleasant for them too.(Kay-Y helps this problem very well.) Without one it makes them (key word here.) SEEM larger. But that's it. For the most part of why it's preformed it's either for cultural reasons, religion, or because it was "easier" to keep clean as others have mentioned. It does not affect his performance, he's either good in bed or not.

CIRCUMCISED deffinetely.

Why? Keep reading...

CIRCUMCISION IS VERY BENEFICIAL, its cleaner and several research bodies have concluded that circumcised men have less risk of contracting STD's such as AIDS-HIV or herpes.

Uncircumcised penises are difficult to keep clean, and more prone to infections and penile cancer, studies have shown.
A circumcised penis is naturally clean and virtually free from urinary infection. You will not have to worry again with careful washing of your penis.

Is it NOT true that the AAP (American Academy of Paediatrics) does not recommend circumcision. They simply say they leave the decision to parents. But recently, and specially after the New Zealand study, the AAP has been discussing if it may be necessary to change their policy and recommend circumcision to all newborns as they used to do, so in the future we may see that the AAP advocates again circumcision.
Have a look at: http://www.baby-health.net/articles/381.html

About STD's:

As I said, several studies carried out by prestigious research bodies have concluded that uncircumcised penises are more prone to infections and contraction of STD's, including AIDS-HIV. Circumcised men have been proved to be up to seven times less likely to be infected than those who are uncircumcised. Have a look at this site: http://icuxbridge.icnetwork.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=14095142&method=full&siteid=53340&headline=-circumcision-protects-against-aids--name_page.html

As for women, studies also show that circumcision also protects female partners from AIDS-HIV and other STD's. Browse this article: http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/Press_releases/2006/02_08_06.html

About sensitivity of a circumcised penis:

No medical or physiological study has proved that circumcision reduces sensitivity, opposed to common belief. It is completely FALSE that circumcision reduces penis sensitivity. The American Academy of Paediatrics (AAP) confirms this on their web site; have a look at: http://www.aap.org/pubed/zzzjzmemh4c.htm

Circumcision is an easy and nowadays *painless* procedure, which has many benefits, and virtually no risks.
Circumcision is NOT an amputation. Circumcision is NOT comparable at all to female circumcision, which is something completely different.

Circumcision rates are INCREASING nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African and South American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.

Finally, this site has a lot of useful and *unbiased* information. Make sure you have a good look: http://www.circinfo.net

I'm not circumcised, but I can move my foresking all the way. So I actually can clean myself real good. On the other hand I've seen D!cks that are seal up and the only way to go in and clean it is with a q tips. Now, that's terrible. I think that you should keep your foresking only if you can opened it up and clean yourself. (Wierd Interesting Question)

I think natural is best, otherwise it would have disappeared over the years.

I have never been exposed to a hooded winky but look forward to the opportunity and have considered restoration for myself.

But hey they are all cute as can be and seem to do just as good a job with or without hoods ;)

Recent research has stated being circumcised may lead to lower risks of HIV contraction. Penis is penis. I do not have a preference. I love it all.

There is no sound reason to be circumcised, certainly not for an adult male. Religous practices being the exception.
