Why not just use a sippy cup?

If ur child is eating solids then baby may require formula once or twice a day - not more and if you can breast feed my kindest advice is to continue doing it. Formula should be offered in a sippy cup rather than a bottle at this age to prevent the incidence of baby bottle tooth decay. Please also avoid giving a bottle if you choose to, at nights and make sure the gums and teeth/tooth iare wiped clean with a warm washcloth. A bottle increases the chance of ear infections as the fluids in the inner ear are not able to drain which happens with babies who breast feed since they have to work hard to get the milk which helps drain the fluids. Breast fed babies also have less smelly poops :)

Of course you can bottle feed an 8 month old. A child that young should get nutrtion from liquid, wither brest milk or formula. Everything else is just pratice. You can introduce a sippy but the baby may or may not take it.

I am not a parent, but my sister has a 2 year old and I have seen what she has done with him. She never gave him a bottle. He was breastfed and then given a sippy cup. She skipped the bottle entirely. I don't know why she never gave him a bottle, but he seemed to like the sippy cup.

Yes & NO basically uyes you can bottle feed but it is not advisable batter you do spoon feeding. Because generaaly we have to keep those bottel and associated accessories very clean and jerm free. There will be smal small corners of bottles which you won't be able to keep jerms free.

I have two kids and I have gone for spoon feeding only than bottel feed.

Yes, you can give an eight month old a bottle. I just stopped breastfeeding and switched to formula and my eight month old daughter is using a bottle. Sometime she uses a sippy cup but when it comes to gulping down her formula she gets less air when she uses a bottle. Goodluck!
