The programming in a phone is designed for a specific company. If the phone is compatible the store may be able to replace the programming.

No because they use an entirely different type of technology than us. Tmobile uses that little sim card you put behind the battery and verizon uses nothing. Their's is built in technology. Why would you want Verizon phone when Tmobile's are so much better and look better.

Last I remember, T-Mobile was using GSM technology and Verizon was CDMA. Hence, like the other guy said, SIM card and built-in technology.
And I'd have to agree that T-Mobile's phones are MUCH better. The only thing I could think of would be she wants the LG Chocolate (Verizon Exclusive) or the RAZR V3M or whatever with the GPS Mapping.
