I like ignorant. The word even sounds condescending and stupid, so it really fits if you use the right inflection.

Condescending and stupid are two different words with two different meanings so I don't think you will find a single word that will describe both. For condescending it is my word of choice, for stupid I prefer inept but it is anyones preference as there are countless words describing a person who is stupid.

Condescending+ arrogant, Patronizing, Degrading, thwarting, demeaning, humiliating, offensive, unacceptable and inconsiderate, disrespectful, insolent , inappropriate, wrong, immoral
Stupid +thickheaded, obtuse, imperceptive, mean, compassionate,
I would sum it up in two words, Patronizing and inconsiderate-which could easily describe an in law of mine. Ugh! The nerve of some. I am sorry you were treated bad, I hate to use the word subjugated, but that is what comes to mind.

Lots of em but here's one: BORISH! I have a sister in law like that. She was completely indulged as an only child and now thinks the world must conform to her very command. Ironically, my brother and I were abused by our awful mother who herself was terribly abused. I have read where often people who have been abused, didn't deal with it and then abuse their own children, have similar personality traits to the overly indulged spoiled morans like my sisiter in law (YEs I mean you Fatti Patti) Hah, feels good to say that! Thanks!
So I guess my brother unconsciously married his mother..and boy does she abuse him. It is pathetic.
