Typically only a few weeks, the adults are usually quite short lived. However, being in the house it may be preparing itself for diapause which is temporary state of metabolic shutdown. It is most likely trying to last through the winter. If it has access to proper food, it may live longer.

as they start flying around alot more they are closer to death
