Access :
Bombay to Matheran :
Bombay-Pune Road. Catch the Express Way to Pune
First left on the Express Way to Khopoli Shadung Road
Pass the double road to Chowk Naka Cross Road
Take left at Chowk Naka
Take left at Kajrat.
Take left at Neral.
This will lead to Dasturi, where the parking lot is.
Cars are not allowed to enter Matheran and hence cars are parked in a 24 hour parking.

Distance from Dasturi to Barr House is 45 min, which one can go by walking, horse rides or cart rides.
Horses are also available for going to barr house as well as for local sightseeing,
