Thanksgiving and Christmas have always been the same menu with my relatives. I like those better than the traditional July 4th menu. I do love cheeseburgers and fried chicken but not from the deli or someone's bbq.

Thanksgiving, no doubt.
However, when I was growing up we always had a special meal for New Year's Eve, usually lobster, bacon wrapped quail stuffed with Jalapenos, champagne.
That was my favorite.

i was going to say thankgiving - but, i think i'll go for the 4th of july - - potato salad and cheeseburgers.....yummy!
